#13 Dena Cho Trail

The Dena Cho Trail is a co-operative effort between Ross River Dena Council and the Town of Faro. It re-traces the 80-km route between Ross River and Faro originally used by gold prospectors. It features five overnight cabins and a steel footbridge over the Orchay River. It follows the montane south facing slope along the Pelly River and features dry Spruce, Aspen Stands, open Sage slopes, erosion features, two sheep herds, and spectacular views. For more information contact either of the two partners; the Ross River Dena Council at (867) 969-2277, or the Town of Faro at (867) 994-2728.
