Along the North Canol Road, there are places that old American Military trucks can be seen. After the war, they were simply parked and abandoned. There are also numerous places to fish for Trout, Grayling, Inconnu, and Jackfish. Excellent multi-species fishing exists at Dragon Lake and the Sheldon, Field, and Lewis lakes complex offers top Jackfish fishing. The branch road to Sheldon Lake ends in a nice sand beach ideal for camping.

These three pictures are of American Army trucks abandoned at Boulder Creek and MacMillan River on the North Canol Road

Fireweed is the territorial flower of the Yukon. Fireweed meadows occur a few years after a forest fire.
